Using a Wii to Improve Your Golf Game
February 20th, 2009 | by Wiiabetes Guest Blogger |Alot of people love to play computer games, whether they are playing a full blown action game or a sports game the thrill of winning is superb. The Wii has brought so much more than any of its rivals, instead of just excercisaing your mind, you are also excersicing your body.
I myself play golf a lot and to be honest I did not used to be very good, no matter what golf clubs or golf putters I purchased it just did not help me. Well a few times back I decided to purchase a Nintendo Wii and it came bundled in with Wii Sports which included a Golf game. Being heavily into golf, I decided to play this and it was so realistic that it was unbelievable.
After playing for a few weeks, my new skills and confidence was gleaming, so I decided to join a tournament. I did not feel I would get very far, but to my surprise I got through the first round and then the second and third, I was in the semi finals but unfortunatley I got eliminated out by a professional golfer who had probably had a decade and more of practice.
I was not going to get myself upset as I have gone from knowing nothing to playing in a major competition from the help of a games console. I do recommend that if you are looking to get into any type of activity to go out and grab yourself a games console, within a few months you will have mastered your game. The wii and a nice set of golf equipment is all you need.
