I live in a small apartment with very little space. How much space do I need between me and my TV to use the Nintendo Wii controller? Specifically, I want to play the tennis game that comes with the Wii.

from my experiances playing: tennis only goes side to side. and make sure you have enough arm room. other than that, it’s not like your running in huge circles or anything.

I have found out that 5 to 8 feet is the best distance you need to be away from the TV. Less then 5 starts to crowd out your space when playing Wii sports (mostly on boxing). The more space the better but I get away with about only 5 to 6 feet in my basement.

If you can stand infront of your TV with your arms out streched, and spin without hitting annything, you will have enough.

For movement and the occasional fall.
An approximate circumfrerence of ft this will allow for movement and the occasional fall.

4 or 5 feet should be fine, I have less than that and have no problem.
