The wii internet doesnt launch until next year.

Right now the only online component with Wii that is working is the Wii Connect24 that sends updates to ur Wii, and the Virtual Console. Wii News and Weather are coming out in DEcember and January, respectively. Online gaming will not start until Next year. TO hook ur Wii to the internet, u must have a Wifi connection. Nintendo sells one that hooks into a USB port. THey are also selling a ethernet cable in the future so u do not have to use wifi, u can plug it straight into the computer.
