There are so many RPGs available but only a few have created big waves among game players.  World of Warcraft is among the most popular games played by many, young and old, men and women.  After the original Warcraft comes another hit RPG and that is the World of Warcraft. Like most RPGs, you are asked to select your side at the start of the game. In World of Warcraft Alliance side, there are five races:  Dwarves, Gnomes, Night Elves, Draenei and Humans. Each race has its own specializations and abilities unique to them. 

The first race under Alliance, the Dwarves, have established a peaceful place beneath the mountains of Khaz Modan and are known to help the Humans during battle. They were characterized in the past as creatures that hardly ever leave their territories or safe zones, but when needed the most, that is, during battles, the Dwarves are sure to help their friends and allies. They have special traits such as Stoneform, Frost Resistance and Gun Specialization.

The Gnomes are among the most odd races under the alliance faction but also the most advanced in terms of technology. They provide their Dwarves cousins with weapon designs and ideas.  Some special features of the Gnomes are Arcane Resistance, Escape Artist and Expansive Mind.

The Night Elves have a great influence in the World of Warcraft by introducing the use of magic in Azeroth. They’re known to be reclusive as they have chosen to isolate themselves from other creatures and stayed on top of the Hyjal mountains for thousands of years now.  These nocturnal creatures are known to possess traits such as Elusiveness, Quickness, Nature Resistance and Shadowmeld.

The Draenei faction entered the world of Azeroth after their great ship Exodar landed from the heavens due to a huge explosion above northern Kalimdor.  The Draenei envision recruiting warriors to scuffle the Burning Legion and stop the horrifying Burning Crusade.  This faction has unparalleled abilities like Shadow Resistance, Heroic Presence, Gem-cutting and Gift of the Naaru.

Lastly, the tough Humans have survived the Orcs invasion during the First War.  This group from Stormwind assembled an alliance to take back Azeroth, their homeland. The Humans are labeled as the most vicious among the races. Humans are known to possess unique abilities like Diplomacy, Perception, Sword Specialization and Mace Specialization to name a few.

There are other discoverable traits and special attributes of these five Alliance races.  With a dynamic story, World of Warcraft is a sure hit among adventure seekers.
